Aussie Racing is a motorsport racing team that was established in 2007. The team started out racing Sprintcars at Valvoline Raceway. In 2011 Aussie Racing experimented and added Speedway Karts to their list of competitive racing sports.
After a few successful years at racing Speedway Karts, Tar Karts was the next sport Aussie Racing was proud to add to their family. After competing in Speedway Karts for a number of years, Ashleigh Jack and Daniel Sayre stepped up to the highly competitive form of motorsport, Wingless Sprintcar Racing. Currently, Aussie Racing compete in a wide range of motorsport divisions including, Wingless Sprintcars, Speedway Karts and Tar Karts.
Aussie Racing is a motivated and driven racing team. For the 2014-2015 racing season their objective is to start where the previous season left off, gaining more and more experience while getting closer to the front. There are many wins within the team of 4 drivers, which includes NSW and Australian Championships won as well as many Club Championships and race feature wins also.
Ashleigh is a young up and coming female racer in the speedway scene. After many successful years racing Speedway Go-Karts, including race wins and podium finishes in Club Championships. At the age of 18, Ashleigh made the step into the Wingless Sprintcar category last season where she scored multiple top 10 finishes. Ashleigh hopes to use this experience to elevate her chances to one-day reach the pinnacle of Sprintcar Racing. While racing Wingless Sprintcars, Ashleigh continues to race Speedway Karts where she currently sits second in the KT Modified class at the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club. Ashleigh is only one of a few ladies trying to make their mark in the sport that is predominately dominated by males.
Daniel is highly regarded as one of the bright new young talents within Speedway Racing. He started his racing career in karting at a young age, where he won multiple Championships, state and national titles. Daniel made the step up into Wingless Sprintcar Racing last season where he has already won two feature races.
Luke is another young racer who is looking to make a name for himself. He currently races Speedway Karts in NSW and is looking to follow in his brother’s footsteps and make a career in Speedway Racing. Although Luke is 15 and currently not old enough to compete in Wingless Sprintcars, Luke will step into a Wingless Sprint when he is old enough whilst continuing to race Speedway Karts in NSW. In 2011 Luke added a Rookies NSW State Title Champion to his list of achievements. Luke has also secured podiums at Australian titles and in Club Championships. Luke is a consistent driver who is always on the pace and looking to push himself further.
At just 12 years of age, Andrew is the youngest driver on the Aussie Racing team. However Andrews’s young age definitely does not limit his abilities; the achievements he has secured to date is remarkable. Andrew has already wrapped up two NSW Titles, one Australian Title and multiple Club Championships. Like his brothers, Andrew hopes to make a career in Speedway Racing, and with people keeping their eye closely firmed on him already, he is well on his way to achieving that.
